Angela Soltys, graduate of the Institute of Art History, doctor of humanities (thesis Artistic collections of Primate Michał Poniatowski defended at the Institute of Art of the Polish Academy of Sciences in Warsaw). Since 2006, employee of the Centre for Historical Research of the Royal Castle in Warsaw, member of the Polish Society for Eighteenth Century Studies. She is interested in the social and economic aspects of the functioning of the royal court under Stanisław August, as well as strictly historical issues of the political activity of Primate Michał Jerzy Poniatowski at the end of the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth.
