Unnecessary cutting

Some classics for today:
¶ Hand-made paper comes in various standard sizes: it is best to choose one that, when folded without trimming, corresponds to the size of the planned book (uneven edges of the sheet can of course be trimmed. Book pages with trimmed edges are easier to turn over, and dust does not get between them – although you could just as well say that this is nonsense), because a sheet of good paper commands a certain respect – it is natural to fold it, and unnecessary cutting is a reason for shame.
