The Palace in Dębinki

Taking advantage of the spring weather, we visited the manor house in Dębinki. Especially since it is almost “next door”, only a 35-minute drive away. Although it is still neglected today, it has a lot of charm. Classicist, built in the 1840s. Although its beginnings are much older. Dębinki belonged to Jan Renard (1682–1746), a Saxon general. He received it as a gift from August II, probably because his sister was Anna Renardówna, one of the monarch’s loves. However, as a result of this union, the famous Anna Orzelska was born, the king’s favourite daughter.
Today, the manor houses the Cyprian Kamil Norwid Museum, which was associated with the Dębinki estate in his youth.
